American Education Week

Thank you to all of the parents who came to help with our "A Chair for my Mother" STEM project.  

The kids made some pretty comfy chairs!

The next day they were asked to create an advertisement to go along with their chair and present it to the class.

I will be looking for these chairs in furniture stores in the future!

Tipis

Last week the children completed a STEM project where they constructed a shelter for a nomadic tribe.

The children also created tipis out of corn tortillas!

Jamestown Speakers

Mr. P. came today to show us some great artifacts from Jamestown.  Everyone got to touch items and help with the presentation!
